I managed to pick this up in the Illamasqua sale which I'm extremely happy about as I basically paid drugstore prices for high end make-up and boy is it beautiful. This eye trio contains the Illamasqua Brow Gel in Strike which came out in 2014 as well as the Vintage Metallix in Embellish and a black gel eye liner.
What's Included
I already own the brow gel in strike as I picked it up when it was on an early release exclusive to Selfridges. I hadn't heard of the product until one of the makeup artists applied it for me and I was pretty impressed with the results. Prior to buying this I had only used the Benefit Gimme Brow and I didn't think I would be able to achieve the same results as the makeup artist but was surprised at how easy it was to use the product once I got home. This stuff does not budge once its on and it manages to look so natural. I love it. 
Looking at Embellish in the pot I was not impressed and didn't think I was going to like it however when I dipped my finger in and swatched the tiniest bit on my hand my mouth dropped open. It is absolutely stunning! Its a beautiful coppery brown shade with gold glitter and it is unbelievably smooth to apply. It blends beautifully but is super pigmented without blending. I'd really like to try their other shades in this now and I would like to see more released! I can see me using this on an everyday basis all over the lid for a quick and easy neutral look. 
Lastly the black gel eye liner. Prior to this purchase I had not tried a gel eye liner. I have tried the pen style and I am absolutely horrendous at applying eye liner. I can never get it anywhere near my lashes and end up just looking like I'm wearing black eye shadow. I definately found this easier to use and managed to line my right eye the best I ever have, however utterly failed on my left eye. My lashes just seem to get in the way. If anyone has any tips for lining your left eye with your right hand please let me know!
