Bite Beauty's Best Bite Remix Lip Pencil Set

Oh my gosh... yes! At the end of 2014 I made my first Sephora order purely so that I could try Bite Beauty as I've heard sooo many good things about them!

I had to dig deep and my pockets suffered greatly but it was so worth it! The product I want to tell you all about today is the Best Bite Remix which was exclusive to Sephora.

I actually think that I got THE LAST ONE! Seriously... The set was showing as in stock so I added it to my basket however, once I went through to the checkout I was informed one of my items were no longer available and asked to remove it. I was gutted! After fumbling about on the website for a while it allowed me to add it back into my basket and check out with it. After I had checked out it then said 'No longer available' including in my order history which lead me to think that I might only be receiving the Mix & Mingle Set. I was so excited when my order came and I opened it up to see both of these beautiful sets staring me in the face.

The Packaging

The Best Bite Remix includes four of Bite Beauty's Lip Pencils which come encased in a small matte red tin featuring a mirror on the inside of the lid. I absolutely love this as its perfect to just throw into your handbag for use out and about. The colour variety is brilliant as the shades Rhubarb and Sable are perfect for casual or daytime wear and the shade Pomegranate and Winter berry for an evening out or more formal events. I think this tin would be great for travel or if you're not going to have time to do a full face of make-up between work and a night out as you can also swap out the Bite Beauty Pencils for 2 standard size Lipsticks as an alternative, trust me, I fed my curiosity and tested this as soon as I started drooling over the packaging. Its hard to believe that such simple packaging could be so freakin' handy!

The Formula

OK that's enough about packaging, onto the formula! "Oh baby, oh baby", the creaminess... the pigmentation, GIVE ME MORE. The product just glides on beautifully and the colour on the lips is so true to the colour of the pencils themselves. I haven't found them drying on the lips at all, they're creamy and smooth but not at all sticky.
The only issue that I have found is that these are not very long wearing and will definitely require a top-up every few hours or so. Surprisingly the colour doesn't seem to transfer too much on cups or glasses when drinking. In summary, for the convenience, precision, colour pay off and creaminess of these lip pencils I really don't mind having to top-up every now and then.
