WOW... For starters, what a fantastic colour. I've never seen such an amazing purple lipstick colour before. In fact I'd never even tried a purple lipstick before. IN FACT, if I'm completely honest, I had no interest in buying Lipstick's until I tried this.
I've heard a lot about MAC lipsticks on the internet. Everyone seems to rave about them and I can now see why. You wouldn't believe how excited I was when I saw the MAC section in Debenhams.
I'd heard that MAC Lipsticks stay on for ages after the first application and this was what interested me most about them. Mainly because I'm very lazy when it comes to make-up. I'm the type of person that likes to apply my make-up once and not have to top-up. I'm not one of those people that pulls out their mirror from their bag every hour to check their make-up and re-apply. If I can find products that I only have to apply once, maybe twice for an entire day, that will suit me just fine!
I've never really been a big fan of lipstick as I don't like the heavy drying feel on my lips but now I realise that I just wasn't wearing the RIGHT lipsticks.
When I first applied MAC Heroine in the shop I was amazed that I could hardly even feel it on my lips. I wore it for the rest of the day after buying it and I kept forgetting I was even wearing it! It feels so light on, the pigmentation is AMAZING and I love the matte effect. It's not sticky at all and it DOES NOT BUDGE. I went for a meal after I'd finished shopping and was absolutely gob-smacked to find that after I'd finished eating and drinking when I went to the Bathroom my lipstick was still there, still perfect & still as colourful as it had been on the initial application multiple hours before.
So prior to buying my MAC Lipstick you would have only found me buying lip glosses but now I am once again open to trying lipstick and have since invested in some of the BodyShop Colour Crush lipsticks which I also love and will be writing about soon to let you know what I think.
I can't wait to get my next MAC lipstick, which will hopefully be tomorrow as I am off to sample some more make-up at Debenhams! I'm also wanting to take a look at the Mac Studio-Fix Foundation, the new Bare Minerals BareSkin foundation and the Benefit Push-up Liner whilst I'm there. I can't wait!
